I have set up a few PC's using Everest Corporate running /R /DATABASE /Custom using Scheduled Task every 5 min.

This morning the testing database server was taken down for a few hours. After bringing the server back up, several of the PC's stopped submitting reports. Upon closer examination it would appear that these said PC's had a copy of everest.exe "stuck" in the windows process list (viewable via Windows Task Manager).

Anyone know a way around this? Perhaps for either the Windows Scheduler to remove everest.exe if one is already running, or have Everest do that itself when executed?

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

Hi

It seems the disconnected server occurred some timeout problem in EVEREST CE and somehow it was not handled it well... We'll try to reproduce the issue here to investigate this issue.

Thanks
Mice
